Colorado based up and coming singer-songwriter with proud Minneapolis roots, Sarah Christine draws influence from pop, indie, folk and electronic sounds to create a unique blend of original compositions.

With a strong passion for writing, composing, and producing, Sarah creates music you'll find yourself playing on repeat and adding to your playlists. Her voice and tone are one of a kind and are undeniably rare! Propelled by an innate desire to base her entire musical adventure and journey on the sole theme of “In It Together”, it is the humble sense of coming together to follow dreams as a community alongside extremely hard work that will help us all achieve our goals.

Sarah’s core story brings light into many stories and circumstances she’s overcome in her life that demonstrate strength, perseverance and bravery encouraging being bold and letting go which is intensified through so many of her lyrics. Overcoming being hit by a Ford F-150 truck while walking across a crosswalk, being one situation Sarah overcame just recently. A life-changing moment.

And through it all SARAH CHRISTINE is here to let us know how she keeps a happy healthy mindset.

Please share a story that includes a happy memory as an artist and has made a huge impact on your artistry.

I've had such a happy memory this year writing a custom song for the daughter of a friend of mine, whose name is London. Their entire family was in on the surprise. Especially, sister, Sydney! London is dealing with a really awful illness, incredibly rare, and is such a fighter. I spent time facetiming each member of the family, including London (once the first surprise that we were writing a song about her was sent her way), and learned all about her story. Only off of their words did I write a song called "London the Brave". It was incredible. I shared it with her parents and both were in tears. I had heard it was London's birthday coming up, so rather than just sending the song and the lyrics and all the special things that come with partnering with me to write your custom song, I decided to surprise London and flew into Minnesota to their home to surprise her. She heard the song for the first time and absolutely freaked out. It was an amazing experience. That's what making music is all about!

How do you choose to lead a Happy Healthy life as an artist?

For me being a "happy healthy" artist is more of a mindset than anything. Focusing on little wins, celebrating the big, not letting things that are tough be a distraction but just part of the business, and constantly moving forward, upward, with a mindset that when you control what you can control, and work your butt off, and do everything for the right reasons, that's when it's happy and healthy for you too.

Who did you learn from to instill those values?

That value was really something I learned before I jumped into music full time. I had a 13 year corporate career that I had juggled with music before I was able to make the leap into making music and performing full time. In my job, there were constant hurdles, things in the economy, people management, budgets, stresses, highs and lows, all of these things! It really taught me to just take each day as it comes, do the absolute best you can, do right by everyone, make tough calls when you need to, celebrate the little wins (they all add up to something bigger), and do everything with the right mindset and intention - if you do, it all works out!

Was it hard work to make sure that you focused on your well being and not only your art?

For sure! There is constant stress and countless hours! You can really drive yourself crazy if you're not careful. I think a lot of times we get caught up comparing ourselves to others which can be really hard on mental health. I think it's important and OKAY to let the universe take you at its pace. It's super important to stay level headed and I think most importantly SUPPORT YOUR OTHER ARTISTS! In it together is my philosophy.

Was there a turning point of how you decided to put yourself first?

I think the only way I really put myself first is my health and wellness but just allowing myself to take the leap into music full time (which was super scary by the way at first). Aside from that I think it's important to collaborate with as many people as you can and that helps to put the music first too.

How do you like to promote a healthy lifestyle?

I hike a lot, meditate, listen to health and wellness podcasts each morning, I have a gratitude journal/mindset journal I do to start each day. In what ways are you connecting with fans to check in on each other?

I keep a pretty detailed email list with things like birthdays and little things I learn about fans after they join my email list and do my best to reconnect with them on special events. I have this all organized so it's actually less time consuming than you think, but it goes a LONG way. Who checks in on YOU when you need it most?

My girlfriend, Heather. She's the best!

Changing habits can be hard. Which was the habit that you had to change and how it's changed your life now?

I think when you get into music it's easy to get sucked into the partying that can occur - although it's super fun and I still like to throw down here and there, I've learned to cool it! Once music isn't a hobby anymore where it's a show here and there with the intent of having a good time with your friends, and you're performing constantly, you see how necessary it is to change your mindset and habits that way. For sure, celebrate and throw down when it's necessary, but music is my job now, and I'm treating it like it :).

Is there a song, book, movie, show or anything that always gives you the motivation you need?

I LOVE documentaries about artists of all kinds and musicians - they show the struggle often, the hard work and dedication/grit it takes, and usually the successes they have achieved. That's always SUPER motivating to me.

What is the mantra of 2022?!
