Fitness and Health with Hilary!

Where are you from and how did you get started? I'm originally from Texas! I started my weight loss journey last year. I decided to make a change and to better my life and my health. I felt my mental health diminishing during quarantine and I ended up gaining weight. Now that I've started making changes, I feel a million times better!

How do you manage your self-care?

I'm passionate about fitness and I like to prioritize time to go to the gym. It helps with my mental health a lot. I also find joy in preparing my food now - it helps me appreciate it more. My air fryer makes everything tastes like a gourmet meal!

What is challenging with wellness and/ or mental health as an influencer?

I really have had to work on my image and how I see myself. Throughout my journey, I've struggled with body dysmorphia. I'm never satisfied with what I see in the mirror so much so that I'll see myself exactly the way I used to before I lost the weight. It's important to take a moment to step back each day and remember the progress you've made!
