Hi Elia! Please share a story that includes a happy memory as an artist and has made a huge impact on your artistry.
One of my favorite moments of being an artist was when I got to perform at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. I was opening up for an artist and it was just an incredible feeling to sing for the crowd and perform my original music.
How do you choose to lead a Happy Healthy life as an artist?
I’m very into my routine and moving my body everyday. Staying hydrated, getting outside, and eating real food is a big deal to me. It makes me feel inspired and ready to be inspired and get the most I can out of the day.
Who did you learn from to instill those values?
I think it’s a variety, I always like to keep my mind learning and discovering so when I was 18 I started getting into a lot of fitness, health and self help knowledge.
Was it hard work to make sure that you focused on your well-being and not only your art?
Not as much, I think I instilled in my workout/fitness routine that it just comes natural to me and then my brain feels ready to create once I’ve moved my body.
Was there a turning point of how you decided to put yourself first?
When I moved to New York City at 17 it took me a few years to adjust and really get into knowing who I am but I really got into my flow once I started working at a studio in the city and learning about recording music and songwriting.
How do you like to promote a healthy lifestyle?
I'm always posting my workouts, and my favorite healthy food options on my socials.
In what ways are you connecting with fans to check in on each other?
I always do my best to answer DMs, comments, and messages and connect with my fans and am always so grateful when people share my music so I make sure to thank them.
Who checks in on YOU when you need it most?
My parents, boyfriend and small group of best friends! I’m very lucky to have a great support system of people who care about me and maintain those relationships.
Changing habits can be hard. Which was the habit that you had to change and how it's changed your life now?
My number one habit that has changed my life was vocalizing 20 minutes everyday. It helped shape my voice so much and also gain strength and endurance.
Is there a song, book, movie, show, or anything that always gives you the motivation you need?
I love motivational podcasts, listening to people tell their stories of how they got through their struggles.
What is the mantra of 2022?!
“I am capable of achieving anything I put my heart and mind to”
